FireScope Data Now: Enterprise-Edition Portlet Released

Last night we launched the Enterprise Edition (EE) of our DataNow portlet. As you know, the DataNow portlet allows users who may not be veteran DBAs to set up real-time access to just about any enterprise data source within a Liferay portal environment (Liferay 4.3) – with just five easy steps. Now with the release of the EE, enterprise users can filter or sort their data on the fly using AJAX, create charts and graphs using the data, and have multiple instances of the portlet running on one page to maximize available queries.

DataNow EE Portlet is currently available for Liferay 4.3.6, with support for Websphere, JBoss, and JetSpeed to follow in the very near future.

Normally priced at $159, we’re offering an introductory price of just $99 until September 1, 2008.

In its inaugural startup contest, Information Week included FireScope as one of the contestants for “Best Start Up” Company. You might remember Information Week included FireScope as a Start Up of the Week several months ago, and they have included us as one of the nominees for ‘favorite tech startup’.

The top six nominees will present their business cases in front of several hundred CIO’s at the Information Week 500 Conference held in September. Winners are selected by the number of votes received and the impact the products and companies have on the business community. We like to tout how we have brought “Business Service Management to the People” and think we have made quite an impact in our space.
